Other Past Jobs

I co-owned and ran my own cupcake business for about six years while I was in high school and undergrad. Our most popular flavor was coconut, but my favorite was s'mores.

For one summer I interned at the local Emergency 911 center as a data analyst. (No, I didn't answer any phones.) I loved getting to meet and assist the important people who work behind the scenes.

One time I worked as a hostess at a barbecue restaurant even though I'm a vegetarian. It was always difficult to answer the question, "what's your favorite thing on the menu?" (Unless the answer was dessert.)
